PAST PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE TENSE

A. Pengertian Past Perfet Continuous Tense 

    Past perfect continuous tense adalah suatu tenses yang digunakan pada waktu mengungkapkan tindakan yang sudah selesai dikerjakan pada suatu waktu tertentu atau pada Waktu bersamaan di masa lampau. Tindakan yang diungkapkan memiliki waktu tertentu.

B. Rumus Past Perfet Continuous Tense 

Positive 

S + had + been + V1 - ing / present participle 

Contohnya : 

While you ate, my uncle had been washing the motorcycle Twice ( selagi kamu makan, oom ku sudah mencuci motor sebanyak 2 kali )

Negative

S + had + not + been + V1 - ing / present participle 

Contohnya : 

The black cat had not been fighting with the mouse for 5 minutes when you went to the market ( kucing hitam itu sudah tidak bertengkar dengan tikus selama 5 menit ketika kamu pergi ke pasar ) 

Introgative 

Had + S + been + V1 - ing / present participle? 

Contohnya: 

Had your mother been buying the vegetable yesterday? ( Apakah ibu kamu sudah membeli sayur kemarin ? )
