         Descriptive Text adalah suatu teks yang menggambarkan keadaan suatu benda mulai dari bentuk, warna, ukuran, sifat, dan masih banyak hal lain.  Descriptive text sebelumnya sudah pernah saya bahas di dalam blog saya dan artikel ini merupakan lanjutan dari yang pertama.  Oleh karena itu, ini bisa di bilang Descriptive Text  part II. Descriptive text merupakan salah satu dari berbagai contoh text yang ada dalam bahasa inggris. Text itu bermacam-macam diantaranya yaitu recount text, narrative textprocedure text, announcement text, report text dan masih banyak text lain. Berikut ini saya akan fokus membahas descriptive text.                 The African Lion

   Lions are the only cats that live on groups, which are called prides. The Prides are Family units that may include up to three males, a dozen or so females, and their young. All of the pride's lionesses are related, and female Cuba typically stay with the group as they age. Young males eventually leave and establish their own pride by taking over a group headed byanother male.
    Only male lions boast manes, the impressive fringe of Long hair the encircles their heads. Males defend the pride's territory, which may include some 100 square miles (259 square kilometers) of grasslands, scrub, or open woodlands.

    Female lions are the pride's primary Hunter. They often work together to prey Upon antelopes, zebras, wildebeest, and other large animals of the open grasslands. Many of three animals are faster than lions, so teamwork pays off.
    After the hunt, the group effort often degenerates to squabbling over the sharing of the kill, with Cubs at the bottom of the pecking order. Young lions do not help to hunt until they are about a year old. Lions Will hunt alone of the opportunity present itself, and they also steal Kill  from hyenas or Wild dogs.
    Lions have even celebrated throughout history for their courage and strength. They once roamed most of Africa and parts of Asia and Europe. Today they are found only in parts of sub-Saharan Africa, except for one very small population of Asian lions that survives in India's gift forest.

Have you ever heard about a junction bridge in Malaysia? Langkawi Sky Bridge is a 125 meter curved pedestarian cable-stayed bridge. Located at the peak of Gunung Marchincang mountain, on Langkawi, an island in the Langkawi archipelago in Kedah, Malaysia. Completed in 2004, this suspended bridge is located at the end of a cable car ride which behind at the oriental village at the foot hill of the Marchincang mountain range. 
    The bridge is suspended from a 82-meter high single pylon and hangus about 100 meter above ground. It swings out over the landscape to give visitors a unique spatial experience and spectacular views. The 1.8 wide bridge has two triangular platforms that act as 'stop' where you can admire the view and rest your feet.    Sunflower ia annual plant. It usually grows, flowers, and dies in one year. It possesses a large flowering head. Sunflower stems can grow as high as 3 m, while the flower head can reach 30 cm in diameter. The term "sunflower" also refers to all plants of the genus helianthus, a kind of perennial plants. It jeans that they are able to grow for two season or more. To grow well, sunflower need full sun. They grow row  in fertile, moist, well-drained land with a lot of soil protection. In commercial planting, seeds are planted 45 cm apart and 2.5 cm deep.
    The flower is native to the Americas. The evidence is that was first planted in Mexico, by at least 2600 BC. It mau have been planted a second time on the middle of Massissippi Valley, or been introduced there from Mexico at an early date, as corn was. The earliest known example of a fully planted sunflower have been found on Tennessee and dated to around 2300 BC. Many native Americans used sunflower as the symbol of their sun God, including the people of Aztecs, the Otomi of Mexico, and the Incas in South America.
    Sunflowers " while seeds" (fruit) are sold as Snack, after bring roasted in ovens, with or without salt added. Sunflower can be processed into a peanut butter alternative, sun butter. In Germany, sunflower ia mixed together with what flour to make sonnenblumenkernbrot (literally: sunflower whole seed bread), which is quite popular in German-speaking Europe. It is also sold as food for birds and can be used directly on cooking and salads. Sunflower oil, extracted from the seeds, is used for cooking. It contains oil, so it can produce margarine and biodiesel.
